FAQ

You can request an appointment with our online booking request form, walk in, or give us a call at whichever location you are looking to schedule with.

We accept walk-ins on a first come, first serve basis.  Making an appointment is always recommended (especially if you are not local, so you can guarantee to be tattooed while you are visiting.). If you decide to walk in and we do not have availability when you arrive, we will be glad to check our schedules to see if there is another date and time that better suits your schedule.

You must bring a valid government issued photo ID so we can copy it to your paperwork upon arrival for your tattoo.  We suggest you eat a light meal a couple hours before arrival; feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks.

To prevent your tattoo from infection and damage, we recommend that you wait at least 6 weeks BEFORE submerging your tattoo in water.

South Carolina state law states that we cannot tattoo anywhere on the head, face or neck.

At Porkchop’s Tattoo Studio, we do not tattoo the sides of fingers, sides of hands, sides of feet or anywhere on / below the ankle bone – Why?  It is proven by experience that these areas heal very poorly.  We take pride in our work here and want you to be satisfied with your tattoo.  Based on 25+ years of experience, these areas will not hold up; therefore, we cannot guarantee them.

South Carolina state law requires you to be a minimum of 18 years old with a valid government issued photo ID – No exceptions.  South Carolina DOES NOT allow parental consent to get tattooed.  You must be 18 years old.
